What are the CAVA Eligibility Requirements?

The CAVA certification requires completion of an approved VA training course OR a minimum of 1 year, full-time VA employment that can be verified.

How to Get Your CAVA Certification

1. Submit an Application​​

Submit an application and provide the following information for assessment:

  • Training course information and certificate of completion

  • Work experience and history

  • Other education details

  • Personal and professional references

  • Copies of your CV/resume
     

2. Application Review

​​A member of our certification team will carefully review your application and verify all information provided.​ Upon successful review, you will be granted with the prestigious CAVA certification and can begin using the designation on your profile.

3. Maintain Your Credential

Maintain your CAVA certification by completing professional development training every 2 years. After 3 years of experience, you can apply for the Certified Professional Virtual Assistant (CPVA) Certification.
